2018/2019 SOCS Executive Council
President - Karolina Kulesza
Hey everyone! My name is Karolina Kulesza and I am beyond excited to be your SOCS President! I am a fourth year Honours Political Science student who is trying to minor in Anthropology! I have been in 3 programs over my McMaster experience and have been a commuter since the first year. You will often find me in Thode, trekking up from Lot M, or at one of the bars on campus! I have been involved in SOCS since my first year at Mac, and SOCS has given me a great foundation to do what I have been able to do at McMaster so far! I hope that I can work with the off-campus society this year to run events, and help you all with your off-campus experience! Please send me an email if you have any inquiries! #proudtobeoffcampus
Vice President Administration
Hi everyone! I’m Mehreen, your 2018-2019 VP Admin. I’m in my third year of Honours Integrated Science and am concentrated in Psychology Neuroscience and Behaviour (PNB). I was born and raised in the Hammer so I commute from home every day. However, you’ll find me at Thode more than I'm actually at home, which means I'm on campus basically all the time. So feel free to message me anytime! This year, I hope to efficiently communicate the society’s activities through the term with all SOCS members both new and old!

Vice President Athletics - Todd Wong
Greetings! My name is Todd and I am your 2018-2019 VP of Athletics. I am a Fourth-year Anthropology and Geography Major who specializes in the field of GIS. I live in Hamilton and commute every day via car. This year I hope to expand my position beyond intramurals and into the scope of health and wellness within our community members.
Vice President Education & Community - Alysha Mattos
Hi fellow off-campus dwellers! My name is Alysha Mattos and I’m super excited to be your VP Education and Community this year! I am in my fourth year of Nursing here at McMaster. I’ve been involved with SOCS since my first year of university. Some of my interests include art, swimming, food and horror movies. I have so many exciting plans for this year! I can’t wait to see you all there!
Vice President Social - Jeremy Swenauth
Hey all, My name is Jeremy Sewnauth and I am excited to be your newly elected VP Social for the 2018/2019 year. A few little facts about me is that I was born and raised in Brampton (mans who know, know) and I am currently in my third year of Honours Life Science. This year marks my second year with SOCS and what a great year it has been so far.
This upcoming year I aim to host many events to bring in people from all years of McMaster and break the stigma that “SOCS is only a first-year thing” because it’s here for everyone. I hope to make this year one of the prosperous years yet. Keep your eyes peeled on your social media handles for event updates and don’t hesitate to contact me if you have questions/concerns/ideas for current or future events. Can’t wait to meet you all.
