SOCS & COVID-19 Update

To all members of the SOCS Community, In light of the recent updates around the impact of COVID-19 on the McMaster community, all discretionary McMaster campus events have been cancelled as of Thursday, March 12th, 2020. With the most recent update coming from McMaster’s President, David Farrar on Friday, March 13th, 2020, all in person-classes and end of term exams are cancelled. The Executive Council of the Society of Off-Campus students at this time has decided to suspend all club activities indefinitely for the rest of the term, following McMaster's decision to cancel all discretionary events. This means that our upcoming Coffeehouse at West End Pub on Wednesday, March 18th has been cancelled until further notice. We will continue to monitor the situation for updates. In the meantime, we apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.
